Why shelf test acc. to DIN EN 15635?
EN 15635, Steel static storage systems. Application and maintenance of storage equipment, can be used as basis for inspection and evaluation of damage to shelves and storage equipment. It specifies guidelines for safe operation of shelves and storage equipment. If the storage equipment is checked on the basis of this standard, the operator can assume that they have met the requirements of the company safety regulations. Applying the standard lowers risks and hazards during work at and with storage equipment. According to the standard, an inspection should take place annually by a storage equipment tester.
