EU Machinery Regulation 2023 – Regulation (EU) 2023/1230
2023-07-13 The EU Machinery Regulation 2023 has already received an update. The EU has corrected some dates and published in the Official Journal on 04/07/2023. Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 on machinery, will apply from 20 January 2027 – instead of 14 January 2027.
2023-06-29 Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 on machinery, or in short the EU Machinery Regulation 2023, has been published in the Official Journal of the EU on 29/06/2023. This means that the regulation will enter into force 20 days later. It will apply from Jan. 14, 2027, but some articles will apply from 2023 or 2024.
The Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC is therefore history on January 14, 2027. From then on, the new regulation will apply bindingly and directly in all parts in every member state.
