The playground equipment test comprises:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspection by Qualified playground inspector according to DIN 79161-1 and -2, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fll.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FLL<\/a>\/<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bsfh.info\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BSFH<\/a>\u00a0certified<\/li>\n<li>acc. to DIN EN 1176<\/li>\n<li>Visual inspection<\/li>\n<li>Operative inspection<\/li>\n<li>annual general inspection of your playgrounds<\/li>\n<li>Playground equipment log acc. to DIN EN 1176<\/li>\n<li>creating documentation<\/li>\n<li>Photo documentation of devices and faults<\/li>\n<li>advice for redesign<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Which playground equipment do you need to check in a playground equipment inspection according to DIN EN 1176?<\/h2>\n<p>All interior and exterior playground equipment and the playgrounds need to be checked.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>climbing wall<\/li>\n<li>crawling tunnel<\/li>\n<li>slide<\/li>\n<li>sandbox, if applicable<\/li>\n<li>wall bars<\/li>\n<li>spring rider and see-saw<\/li>\n<li>self-made interior playground equipment (raised play levels, play platforms, play corners, climbing elements)<\/li>\n<li>etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Where do playgrounds and playground equipment need to be checked acc. to DIN EN 1176?<\/h2>\n<p>In the kindergarten, in the daycare centre, in schools, in shops, in a doctor&#8217;s practise, in the office, in outer areas of companies, etc., all playground equipment and playgrounds must be checked.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Outside playgrounds<\/li>\n<li>Inside playgrounds and playground equipment in a company \/ an organisation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How and how often do playgrounds and playground equipment need to be checked?<\/h2>\n<p>In order to meet your duty to maintain safety as an operator, you need to perform checks.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visual and functional checks to detect obvious hazard sources for example as a result of usage or vandalism: daily or weekly.<\/li>\n<li>Detailed visual and functional checks to check the operational safety and stability: every 1 to 3 months.<\/li>\n<li>Main inspection to determine the general safe condition of the entire installation. Hereby, the construction itself is also checked, for example by exposure of parts: at least once a year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What does DIN EN 1176 mean?<\/h2>\n<p>DIN EN 1176 is a European standard for playgrounds and playground equipment.
